Ukrainian fighters also destroyed 31 units of Russian military equipment, including one tank, four armored medical vehicles, seven artillery systems, one MRLS, 11 UAVs, six cars, and one unit of special equipment.
Background
"Solntsepyok" is a heavy flamethrower system, a Soviet Russian weapon system designed to disable light armored vehicles, set fire to and destroy buildings and structures with a volume explosion, as well as destroy enemy troops located in open terrain and fortifications. Destruction occurs by exposing the target to high temperatures, fragments, shock waves, and excess pressure, which is created during the mass use of unguided rockets in thermobaric and smoke-incendiary equipment.
It was reported that the Russian occupiers tried to storm the Ukrainian paratroopers in the Tavria direction under the cover of fog. They failed and also lost military equipment.
Ukrainian troops continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region and conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction.
Ukrainian troops maintained their positions on the eastern (left) bank of the Kherson region and expanded their control over their positions north of Podstepne.
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Tuesday, November 7, amounted to 890 occupiers. The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 306,860 soldiers.
