What is the problem?
Because of the war, tens of thousands of Ukrainian women were forced to leave their homes and go abroad to another country or safer regions of Ukraine. Besides losing their property and belongings, they also lost their jobs.
What is the solution?
The Projector Foundation, together with the EU, announces an open call for free online training in the field of creative and IT industries for Ukrainian women abroad and in Ukraine.
How does it work?
New skills for starting a new career can be obtained in 13 fields. This project will cover 1000 participants and start in November. The list of specializations Ukrainian women can acquire includes graphic and web design, SMM, and programming.
Adult refugees abroad who do not have a job and women with IDP status in Ukraine can apply for training. To participate in the competition, a document confirming the status will be sufficient.
"We want to empower women and help them learn new skills to start a career in the creative or IT sector so that Ukrainian women have financial independence and decent wages. During the courses, female students will work with real customers and receive ready-made cases in their portfolio after its completion," said the Projector.
HR consultations, access to the online Projector Library, and the LEZO career service will be part of the training.
One of the conditions is the command of the English language at a level no lower than Upper-intermediate. The application deadline is November 14, 2023 (at 11:00 p.m.). You can register using the link.
The training was created with the financial support of the EU and the informational support of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

The first driving courses in Ukraine for women who found themselves in difficult life circumstances due to the war were opened in Kyiv.
