Record number of Russian aerial bombs dropped on Berislav and Krynky overnight

Overnight, the Russian forces dropped a record number of aerial bombs on Berislav and Krynka, Kherson region. 

Russian occupiers also shelled Kherson by night, Rubryka reports, citing the statement of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko.

"At night, the occupiers carried out 12 airstrikes on the village of Krynky and the city of Beryslav. In just the past day, the enemy launched 87 air bombs on populated areas of the Kherson region — the largest number ever," he said.

According to the minister, the Russian forces attacked Kherson in the evening and at night.

"Around 3 a.m., the enemy shelled the city again. Two private houses were damaged," Klymenko said.

Russian troops also hit the city in the evening, damaging four high-rise buildings; in one of them, the ceiling in the apartment was destroyed.

"Fortunately, there were no casualties," he added.

As reported, on November 5, Russian troops attacked Kherson again from the occupied left bank, injuring three locals.

Later, the Russian occupiers once again shelled Kherson. Four people were injured in the repeated enemy attack.

Situation in the region

The village of Krynka, Kherson region, is located on the left bank of the Dnipro River, in the territory occupied by Russian troops, which they captured during Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. In mid-October, the report of the Institute for the Study of War, dated October 19, said that Ukrainian troops advanced to the northeast of Krynka, Kherson region.

Later, on October 21, analysts stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces continued to conduct larger-than-usual ground operations on the left bank of the Kherson region. In particular, Ukrainian soldiers are fighting in the village of Krynka. In turn, the Russians are trying to prevent the attempts of the Ukrainian forces to gain a foothold in Krynka on the left bank of the Kherson region and to establish supplies there.
