According to the department's information, the ship has sustained significant damage and may be beyond repair.

"Ukraine's armed forces repeat that Crimea is Ukraine. And the Russians will not hide anywhere," the department emphasized.

For reference:

As reported earlier by Rubryka, there has been news on Telegram of a strike at the shipbuilding plant in Kerch, located in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

After some time, this information was confirmed by the Department of Strategic Communications of Ukraine's armed forces. Also, the "Krymskyi Veter" Telegram channel reported the defeat of the small missile ship "Askold."

In his turn, the commander of the Air Force of Ukraine's armed forces, Mykola Oleshchuk, noted that one of the most modern ships of the Russian Navy was located there – the carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles.

He thanked the tactical aviation pilots for the successful strikes and the anti-aircraft gunners of the Air Force "South" for the downed Iskander missiles flying in response.

Already in the morning on November 5, the commander confirmed the destruction of one of the newest Russian Kalibr carriers.

Later, the mass media published pictures of the damaged factory in Kerch and the Russian ship. In the photos released by the American company Planet Labs, you can see the site of the damage at the factory in the temporarily occupied city of Kerch on the Crimean peninsula, as well as a military vessel that also appears to be damaged.
