Loud explosions heard near occupied Crimean city of Dzhankoi

On Thursday morning, November 2, a powerful explosion rang out near the city of Dzankoi in the occupied Crimea.

Locals said that the sound of the explosion was loud and muffled, Rubryka reports, referring to the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind."

"Subscribers report a loud, muffled explosion in the Dzhankoi area," the publication said.

Russian-appointed occupation officials have not provided explanations of the reasons for the incident. The occupation "administrations" are also silent about this blast near the city.

Later, the Crimean Telegram channel reported that a rocket had been spotted in the sky in the Dzhankoi district. Locals clarified that it happened at 12:06 p.m., and there was also a "powerful explosion," Crimean Wind said.

The photo of the rocket was published on social media.

As Rubryka reported, earlier in the morning, Crimean partisans recorded the arrival of newly mobilized soldiers in Dzhankoi, located in the north of the Ukrainian peninsula, not far from the administrative border with the mainland.

According to the underground, Russian mobilized troops arrive in this city every day by trains and buses. The passage to the railway station was closed for civilians in Dzhankoi.

About a week ago, a significant number of mobilized occupiers and equipment was also recorded in Dzhankoi. They were spotted at the city's airport.

Explosions in occupied Crimea

Since the beginning of the full-scale war against Ukraine, the Russian aggressors have been using the occupied Crimea for their military purposes. Across the peninsula, the Russians forces transfer weapons and troops to the front line.

However, lately, it has become dangerous for Russians to stay in Crimea. The Ukrainian forces attack military bases, warehouses, airfields, and even bays where Russian ships are stationed. A vivid example was the attack by the Ukrainian Forces on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.

On Wednesday, November 1, the Russian occupiers reported a missile attack on the territory of the Crimean peninsula. Eyewitnesses reported damage to the Russian military bases.

Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, said there were no safe places for the Russian occupiers in Crimea. The pressure exerted by the Defense Forces of Ukraine makes it difficult to use the Crimean peninsula as a logistics hub.
