Russian rockets and drones attack Ukraine's Khmelnytskyi and Dnipro regions by night
On Sunday evening, Russian troops launched several groups of attack drones into the territory of Ukraine.
An air alert was announced in several regions. At night, explosions rang out in the central city of Dnipro. The air defense was activated in the western Khmelnytskyi region. There were no casualties or destruction, Rubryka reports, citing the statements of Ukraine's Air Force officials.
Around 8:20 p.m., the Air Force warned of the threat of Russia using attack UAVs in the southern Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Later, it was reported that the attack drones were moving from the Kherson region toward the Mykolaiv region; later, they were detected in the airspace of the Mykolaiv region, moving in a western direction.
After that, the Air Force warned about another group of attack UAVs from the Kherson region toward the Mykolaiv region. The threat of attack drones was also reported in the central Kirovohrad region.
At 9:52 p.m., the Air Force reported that the drones in the Kirovohrad region were moving northwesterly with a threat to central Cherkasy and Vinnytsia regions.
At 10:23 p.m., a threat was announced for the Khmelnytskyi region because strike UAVs in the Vinnytsia region were moving in a north-western direction. At 22:24, an air alert was also announced in the Kyiv region.
Subsequently, the Air Force warned that the first group of UAVs in the Cherkasy region was moving north, and the second group in the Vinnytsia region was moving to the northwest.
At 23:06, it became known that the drones on the border of the Cherkasy and Kyiv regions were moving in the northern direction, and the drones in the Vinnytsia region were moving in the direction of the northwestern Zhytomyr region.
Later, the Air Force reported that drones were attacking the city of Starokostiantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi region. At 11:42 p.m., there was over and out announced in all regions.
At night, residents of several regions in the east of Ukraine were warned about the threat of the Russian forces using aviation weapons.
Explosions in Dnipro
Explosions rang out in the city of Dnipro at night. Blasts were also heard in the suburbs of the city.
Two Russian rockets were downed in the sky over the Dnipropetrovsk region at night.
"The debris fell in the Dnipro district. A five-story building, a private house, and a car were damaged there," Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported on Telegram.
Lysak added that Nikopol was shelled twice by the Russian forces from heavy artillery. Fortunately, there were no deaths or injuries.
The Air Defense Forces was also activated in the Khmelnytskyi region. There were no casualties or damage.
"Once again, we thank the air defense forces for their excellent work. There were no casualties. There was no damage to infrastructure," Serhii Tyurin, the first deputy chief of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, said on Telegram.
The Air Force noted that official information on the number and types of downed air targets would be published after the data was compiled.
The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces were ready for possible attacks by the Russian forces because Russia was likely preparing for new massive strikes on Ukraine.
As Rubryka reported, on the night of October 29, Russian aggressors struck several regions with five Shahed drones and a Kh-59 guided air missile: the air defense managed to destroy all the drones.
