Ukrainian forces have eliminated over 299,000 Russian invaders in full-scale war

On October 28, Ukraine's Defense Forces eliminated more than 600 invaders; thus, the total losses of Russian troops since the beginning of the full-scale invasion amounted to more than 299 thousand soldiers.

The General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces reported that on Facebook.

Ukrainian defenders eliminated 660 aggressors on the last day.

In addition, during the almost complete 612 days of the war, Ukrainian soldiers "demilitarized" thousands of units of armored vehicles, automobiles, and aviation of the Russian troops.

On the last day, Ukraine's soldiers also destroyed eight tanks, nine armored vehicles, and eight artillery systems.

In turn, the airmen landed three cruise missiles.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 29.10.23 approximately amounted to:

• personnel – about 299,080 (+740) people,
• tanks ‒ 5175 (+8) units,
• armored combat vehicles ‒ 9758 (+9) units,
• artillery systems – 7188 (+8) units,
• multiple rocket launchers – 834 (+0) units,
• air defense equipment ‒ 558 (+0) units,
• aircraft – 320 (+0) units,
• helicopters – 324 (+0) units,
• UAVs of the operational-tactical level – 5399 (+0) units,
• cruise missiles ‒ 15414 (+3) units,
• ships/boats ‒ 20 (+0) units,
• submarines ‒ 1 (+0) units,
• automotive equipment and tank trucks – 9532 (+8) units,
• special equipment ‒ 1012 (+1) units.

As reported in the military command, during the past 24 hours, the Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out five strikes on the areas where the enemy's personnel, weapons, and military equipment are concentrated.

Also, Ukraine's air defense destroyed three Iskander-K land-based cruise missiles.

In turn, units of the missile forces struck:

• area of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment,
• enemy artillery.

At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation on the Melitopol front, inflict losses in human resources and equipment on the occupying forces, and exhaust the enemy along the entire front line.

It should be noted that the enemy troops have apparent problems with fuel. It has to be transferred from remote regions of the Russian Federation to Avdiivka and Zaporizhzhia.

In addition, according to British intelligence, the Russian army suffered some of the worst losses of 2023 at Avdiivka, and, likely, the command's requests are again at odds with the actual capabilities of the Russian military.
