Russian missile slams post office in the Kharkiv region, killing six
On the evening of October 22, Russian forces struck the Kharkiv region with a ballistic missile, targeting a local post office and killing six on the spot.
Authorities reported several hits and explosions throughout the city before informing about the strike.
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky unveiled details of the attack in his evening address to Ukrainians.
Kharkiv region. A Russian missile has hit the Nova Poshta terminal. An ordinary civilian facility. Unfortunately, there are victims. My condolences to the families and friends!
We know about 13 victims. All services are working at the scene, the rescue operation is underway.
Later, authorities added there were six people killed and 14 people hospitalized.
The employees had no chance to run to the shelter as the air raid alarm sounded just before the explosion.
The police soon clarified the attack injured 16, noting there were 22 people at the moment of the attack.
