Russian disinformation campaign spreads fake radio broadcasts in Kharkiv region
Russian agents are attempting to disseminate false radio broadcasts called "Slobozhanske FM" in Kharkiv and the surrounding area. The broadcast can be found on 90.2 FM.
The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported this.
"In Kharkiv and the region on the frequency of 90.2 FM, the Russian occupiers are trying to conduct a fake radio broadcast under the name "Slobozhanske FM," – the message reads.
The administration emphasizes that the enemy has previously attempted to pass as Ukrainian broadcasters to spread misinformation among the people of the Kharkiv region.
"Slobozhanske FM" also airs on the following frequencies:
- Balaklia – 104.9 MHz;
- Zmiiv – 90.8 MHz;
- Blyzniuky- 100.1 MHz;
- Barvinkove- 103.4 MHz.
As reported earlier by Rubryka, the residents of Vovchansk in Kharkiv Region, which has been freed from Russian invaders, have regained access to Ukrainian television and radio broadcasting. The occupiers, damaging television networks, greatly impacted the city. Moreover, the area's hilly terrain also posed challenges for reliable broadcasting in Vovchansk.
However, in the city, residents can now watch Ukrainian TV channels and listen to the radio in digital format.
