Russian troops to relocate personnel and equipment following Ukrainian missile strike on airfields – Ukraine's armed forces

The Russian soldiers will relocate their equipment in Ukraine's occupied region after ATACMS missiles strike the airfields in Berdiansk and Luhansk.

The spokesman of the Air Force of Ukraine's armed forces, Yuri Ihnat, said this on the telethon air.

He says he doesn't have reliable information about the Russians' losses yet.

"We still have to wait for intelligence data, wait for satellite images, information, possibly from other sources, and then we will know for sure, so as not to tell now how much of this equipment was destroyed," the statement reads.

Ihnat explained that the very fact of launching strikes at such a distance with such a type of weapon against which Russia cannot actually oppose anything now already indicates that the situation would change.

Ukraine's Air Force spokesperson made it clear that the enemy would be on the move, just like with the recent incidents of explosions at Russian airfields involving strategic aviation.

For reference:

It should be noted that on the night of October 17, Ukrainian defense forces attacked helicopters and equipment of the Russian occupying forces at the airfields near the temporarily occupied Berdiansk and Luhansk.

According to Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, it's crucial for Ukraine to launch attacks on the Luhansk and Berdiansk airfields, as those are the bases for helicopters operating near the front line. These helicopters are the ones capable of attacking the military equipment belonging to the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Later, it was revealed that on Tuesday, Ukraine's armed forces fired ATACMS missiles at Russian troops. It was confided that these missiles had been obtained in small numbers from the United States. This marked the first instance of using this type of US-supplied weaponry in the ongoing war in Ukraine.
