Five Russian planes attack Kherson region

Today, October 16, in the evening, five fighter jets of the Russian troops dropped aerial bombs on the Kherson region.
The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported that on Telegram.
Preliminary data indicates that the enemy launched nine targeted airstrikes on four settlements in Beryslav district. Details on casualties and damages are currently under investigation.
"The enemy attacked the Kherson region with five SU planes. According to preliminary information, nine guided aerial bombs were dropped on four populated areas of the Beryslav district," he said.

After the liberation of the right bank of the Kherson region, part of the region is under constant shelling by the occupiers. The Russians attack the civilian population with heavy weapons, artillery, and aviation.
On October 14, the Russian military again attacked the residential buildings of Beryslav in the Kherson region. A woman died as a result of the shelling.
On the same day, the enemy shelled Kherson: they hit a supermarket in the Dnipro district.
According to the General Staff, in the area of responsibility of the "Odesa" anti-aircraft missile defense system in the Kherson direction, the defense forces are conducting a counter-battery fight, destroying supply depots and successfully striking the enemy's rear.
At the beginning of September, Ukraine's armed forces destroyed six Russian boats that tried to maneuver among the islands on the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson region to secure their positions.
