Russian army shells Kherson, hitting near local supermarket
Today, October 14, the Russian military shelled Kherson in the afternoon: they hit a supermarket in the Dnipro district.
The head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported.
"The army of the Russian Federation is shelling the city with all kinds of weapons. So, if you heard the sounds of explosions, even without the announcement of an air raid alert, go to shelters or lie down on the ground. Fortunately, there were no casualties," the message says.
It should be noted that the occupying troops from the left bank are constantly moving around the Kherson region. At around 6 a.m. today, the Russian army attacked Beryslav, hitting a private house. A 60-year-old woman who was under the rubble died as a result of injuries incompatible with life.
Citizens are asked not to neglect their safety.
According to the Kherson Regional State Administration, the enemy carried out 117 attacks over the past day, firing 574 shells from mortars, artillery, Grad multiple launcher systems, tanks, ATGMs, aviation, and UAVs. The enemy fired 32 shells at the city of Kherson.
The Russian military targeted residential quarters of the region's populated areas, a building of an educational institution, an enterprise, and the territory of the engineering structure in the Kherson district, library, and an enterprise in Kherson.
As a result of Russian aggression, one person died, and five more were injured.
