Russian forces kill child in Donetsk region during missile attack

Russian troops continue attacking civilians in the frontline Donetsk region, this time shelling the town of Bogatyr.
National Police reports the enemy forces used Smerch missile launchers to attack the town, killing one child.
The shelling affected the town nine times, hitting residential areas. The "White Angels" rescue unit was on spot.
An 11-year-old boy received deathly injuries. His birthday was just two days ago. His 31-year-old mother and younger son were immediately hospitalized, the press release says.
The shelling also damaged 20 houses, a local church, a school, several vehicles and a power line.
The police searched through the whole affected district. Some civilians hid in their basements, which saved their lives, some survived under the rubble.
On the morning of October 14, Russian troops shelled the city of Pokrovsk with ballistic missiles, damaging two buildings, multi-storey buildings and injuring 21 civilians.
Russian troops injured 22 civilians over the past night, shelling towns of Volnovakha, Avdiivka, New York, Toretsk, etc.
Raging battles are ongoing near Avdiivka, where Russian troops intensified their attacks. For four days in row, they conducted heavy missile attacks and pushed units with heavy equipment to assault Ukrainian positions.
