Ukrainian special forces have destroyed dozens Russian troops and eight pieces of equipment in Avdiivka
Russian forces tried to recapture their lost ground near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region, while Ukrainian troops repelled enemy attacks in the east, including Avdiivka.
Ukrainian forces bravely hold the line, repelling seven enemy attacks near the town and another seven attacks near Lastochkine, Tonenke, Pervomayske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, the latest AFU report says.
Over the first day of Russian intensification on the Avdiivka front, the Special Operations Forces destroyed eight pieces of heavy equipment and killed dozens of Russian invaders.
For three days now, Ukrainians have been focused on the situation on the Avdiivka front, where the enemy has intensified its offensive. However, Ukrainian forces disrupted the plans of the insane enemy, repelled all attacks and held their positions, the press release says.
During the day, Ukrainian aviation carried out 12 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment and two more on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
At the same time, Ukrainian troops continued offensive operations in the Melitopol and Bakhmut fronts. They are inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.
