Russia shells Sumy region, killing 13-year-old girl
In the Sumy region, a 13-year-old girl was killed by Russian invaders while they shelled the village of Uhroyidy. She passed away while being transported in an ambulance.
The Sumy Regional Military Administration reports this on Telegram.
Today, the aggressor country shelled the village of Uhroyidy, Krasnopil community.
"A girl born in 2009 was wounded. Unfortunately, it was not possible to save the girl. She died in an ambulance," the regional military administration reported.
It should be noted that tonight, October 10, the Russian army carried out three mortar attacks on the border communities of the Sumy region.
"At night, the Russians carried out three mortar attacks on the border. Twenty-one explosions were recorded. The communities of Shalyhin (6 explosions), Krasnopil (11 explosions), and Khotin (4 explosions) were shelled," the Sumy Regional Military Administration stated.
During the day of October 9, the Russian army also shelled the border areas of the Sumy region five times, and four territorial communities came under enemy fire. As a result of Russian shelling, 17 explosions rang out in the region during the day.
The invaders hit the communities of Bilopillia and Khotin with unguided air missiles, launching them from helicopters – four explosions were recorded.
Russian troops fired artillery and mortars at the Velykopisariv community – three and two explosions occurred, respectively.
The Russians dropped four mines on the territory of the Krasnopil community.
