Ukrainian president's office reacts to events in Israel: "The world is plunged into chaos because of Russia"

Because of Moscow's actions, the whole world is plunged into chaos, and the massive rocket attacks and hostilities in Israel are the consequences.

The adviser to the head of the Office of the President, Mykhailo Podoliak, reported that on X.

"Consequences. All that Russia is doing in Ukraine is destroying global security, global rules, and global agreements.

As a consequence, the world is plunging into chaos, and terrorist communities are beginning to behave more defiantly, aggressively, and even declare war against entire countries….," the official said.

Podoliak believes that the defeat of Russia will be able to return the world to stability. He called Moscow "the key sponsor of global terrorism and the author of the deliberate collapse of international law."

For reference:

On the morning of October 7, dozens of rockets were massively launched by Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip toward Israel: cities caught fire, and at least one person died. A clash between the army and militants in the country's south occurred.

Air raid sirens sounded throughout southern and central Israel, and explosions rang out in the cities of Tel Aviv, Ashkelon, Yavne, and Kfar Aviv.

The head of the armed wing of Hamas, Muhammad al-Deifa, said that his fighters launched the operation "After Al-Aqsa." According to him, these actions are designed to protect the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

As reported, the Palestinians fired over 2,000 rockets into Israel and simultaneously captured seven communities in the south. There are casualties among Israeli soldiers and civilians. People are urged to lock themselves in their homes and stay in shelters.

Israel's armed forces said the militants would "pay a high price" and announced the launch of the counter-terrorist operation "Iron Swords."

Later, Prime Minister Netanyahu addressed the nation: "This is not a special operation. Israel is at war."

For the first time in 50 years, a government decision introduced martial law in the country. However, while Israel is striking Palestinian forces from the air, the Israel Defense Forces have not yet moved to ground operations.
