Ukrainian special forces conduct another landing operation in occupied Crimea
Ukrainian special forces landed on the Russian-occupied Crimean peninsula for another operation into the enemy's rear.
The operation was held by "Stugna" and "Bratstvo" special forces, which belong to the Timur special unit at Ukraine's Defense Intelligence, Rubryka reports, referring to the statement of defense intelligence.
"[The Ukrainian soldiers] inflicted fire damage on the Russian occupiers. Crimea will be Ukrainian! Glory to Ukraine!" the statement said.
The intelligence also published a video showing how the Ukrainian boats sail to the shore. The officers did not reveal when exactly the landing took place.
What we know about landing operations in Crimea
In late August, the Russian anti-ship missile system, called Bastion, was destroyed in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The weapon, the missiles installed on it, and the troops nearby were eliminated.
Later, the media reported that Ukrainian intelligence had landed in Crimea and conducted a special operation to destroy the system using watercraft and aviation.
In a comment to the media, defense intelligence representatives said that the sortie was like a raid, showing that Crimea was in the reach zone for operations by Ukrainian fighters.
Spokesperson Yusov also reported that the operation took place on the territory of Cape Tarkhankut, in the settlements of Mayak and Olenivka.
When Ukrainian spies landed on occupied Crimea during the special operation, they hoisted the Ukrainian flag.
Oleksii Danilov, Secretary of the National Security Council, expressed the opinion that Ukraine will most likely liberate Crimea by military means. He believes that only if the peninsula is de-occupied will Ukraine have security guarantees.
Ukraine's Defense Intelligence Chief Kyrylo Budanov said that the Ukrainian forces could strike the enemy in any part of Crimea. He recommended Russians and their collaborators leave the peninsula.
