Russian bombing kills one civilian in Beryslav, Kherson region

On Monday morning, Russian troops dropped four aerial bombs on Berislav, Kherson region. 

One of them fell on the local utility service building, killing one person, Rubryka reports, citing Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional military administration.

"In the morning, the Russian air force attacked Berislav. The occupiers dropped four aerial bombs on the city," he said. "Currently, we know of one dead and several injured." 

Another aerial bomb destroyed a residential building. The information is being clarified.

On Monday, Russian troops also shelled Kherson, damaging the building of the educational institution. According to Prokudin, the Russian army also struck the settlements of Olhivka and Lvove with jets. Information about the victims and destruction is being established, he said.

Over the past day, the Russian army launched 87 rounds of shelling of the Kherson region, firing 497 shells from mortars, artillery, Grad launchers, tanks, UAVs, and aviation. The Russians fired 23 shells at Kherson.

The Russian military targeted the residential quarters of settlements, the territory and buildings of medical and educational institutions, a church, a critical infrastructure object in the Berislav district, and the territory and facilities of factories in Kherson. Two people were killed, and 11 others were injured.

As Rubryka reported, Russian troops hit Kherson on Sunday, September 24, with guided aerial bombs. The Russian forces also attacked Beryslav of the Kherson region several times by aircraft,  killing and wounding civilians. During the second airstrike, the occupying troops destroyed private houses, killing a woman. Her identity is being established.
