Ukrainian intelligence launches assault on Russian intelligence HQ in Kursk
On September 24, in Kursk, Russia, a Ukrainian drone hit the administrative building where the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation is located.
This was reported by a source in the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, writes RBC-Ukraine.
As the governor of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, Roman Starovoit, assured, as a result of this attack, "the roof was slightly damaged."
"Russian officials report that as a result of the attack, the roof was allegedly "slightly damaged." But, obviously, this is not the case. There was a direct hit," the interlocutor said.
As the publication emphasizes, the Main Directorate of Intelligence organized the operation. However, military intelligence neither confirms nor denies their involvement.
Currently, there is no clear information about the scale of the destruction or the victims.
It should be noted that on the morning of September 24, a powerful explosion rang out in Kursk, Russia. Then, the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, said that a drone attacked the administrative building.
According to him, the roof of the building was slightly damaged due to the explosion. However, the footage published on the network shows that the explosion was powerful. After that, black smoke was noticed in the city.
It is worth noting that Kursk is celebrating City Day today. And in the social network, closer to noon, they began to report repeated explosions in the city.
