Second Ukrainian grain vessel arrives in Türkiye via temporary corridor

A second vessel that used the temporary corridor to export Ukrainian grain has already reached the shores of  Türkiye.

As noted in the publication, the bulk carrier Aroyat, with 17.6 thousand tons of Ukrainian wheat for Egypt, using a temporary corridor, crossed the Black Sea and reached  Türkiye.

The ship's crew consists of citizens of Egypt,  Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Belgium and Albania.

It should be noted that it was previously reported that the ship Aroyat left the port of Chornomorsk on September 22 with 17,600 tons of Ukrainian wheat for Egypt.

As Rubryka wrote, the cargo ship with Ukrainian grain Resilient Africa, the first ship with agricultural products that passed through the temporary corridor in the Black Sea, also arrived at the Turkish Bosphorus Strait.

The first two bulk carriers confirmed their readiness to use the temporary corridor in the direction of the port of Chornomorsk to load almost 20,000 tons of wheat.

On July 17, 2023, the Russian side sent Türkiye, Ukraine, and the UN its objections to continuing the "grain agreement" and de facto terminated its validity.

In August, Ukraine announced the opening of temporary corridors for merchant vessels in the Black Sea. The Navy of Ukraine emphasized that the threat from the Russian Federation remains.

The routes are primarily intended for the departure of civilian ships in the Ukrainian ports of Chornomorsk, Odesa, and Pivdenny since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia.

As you know, on August 16, the first ship left the port of Odesa after the termination of the grain agreement, and on August 26 – another one.
