Russian shelling of Kherson region kills one and injures one

Russian troops attacked Kherson on the morning of September 22. A 25-year-old man was killed, and another person was injured in the shelling, authorities report.

The attack targeted residential areas, injuring two more civilians. A fire broke out in a residential building and a garage.

Previously, on September 21, the occupiers repeatedly attacked the Kherson region. Russian troops fired 383 shells, killing seven civilians.

Over the past day, the enemy made 82 attacks, launching 383 shells from mortars, artillery, Grad rocket systems, drones, tanks and aircraft. The enemy fired 28 shells at Kherson city, said Oleksandr Prokudin, head of Kherson regional military administration.

He clarified that the Russian military had targeted residential areas of the region's settlements. Seven people were killed and 12 others were wounded.

Previously, Russian occupiers in the Kherson region dropped four bombs on Lvove, killing a 63-year-old local resident.

On September 21, Russian troops shelled the village of Dariivka and the village of Bilozerka, killing two people.

On September 19, in the afternoon, Russian artillery shelled one of Kherson's higher education institutions.

On September 18, Russian troops fired at the town of Beryslav, Kherson region, from a drone, injuring four residents.
