Russian forces have killed eight and injured 11 Ukrainians over the past day

Authorities of Ukraine's Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions report that Russian forces have killed eight civilians and injured 11 over the past day.

The complete data on civilian casualties remains unknown.

Donetsk region

Authorities report that Russian forces injured five civilians in the Petropavlivka town alone, the frontline Donetsk.

Kherson region

The head of the local military administration Oleksandr Prokuding says the enemy forces shelled the Kherson area 118 times, launching 589 shells from mortars, artillery, Grad long-range missile systems, anti-tank missiles, drones, tanks, and aviation.

Russians attacked the Kherson city with 23 shells. They targeted residential areas of the region, several hospitals in Beryslav and Kherson districts, and factories. The attack killed two and injured two.

Kharkiv region

Over the past day, Russian troops shelled the settlements of the Kupiansk, Bohodukhiv, and Izium districts of the Kharkiv region.

A guided missile strike on Kupiansk killed six volunteers in three vehicles while they were on their way to send humanitarian aid to Ukrainians. Over ten settlements were shelled, too.

Zaporizhzhia region

Yurii Malashko, the head of the local administration said that Russian troops conducted 128 attacks on 24 towns and villages in the region.

The enemy conducted five missile attacks on Novodarivka, Levadne, and Stepove, 12 drone attacks on Kanivske, Orikhove, Novodarivka, Malynivka, Stepnohirsk, Stepove and Mali Shcherbaky, and six air strikes on Orikhove, Robotyno and Mala Tokmachka.

105 artillery attacks took place on the territory of frontline settlements. The missile damaged a fire and rescue unit in Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region.

Men aged 32 and 42 were wounded in a kamikaze drone strike on Stepnohirsk. There were 35 reports of the destruction of residential buildings, outbuildings, and infrastructure.
