Ukraine's air defense successfully downs 27 out of 31 targets in Russian attack

On the night of September 19, the Russian forces carried out massive strikes on Ukraine, launching 30 attack drones and a ballistic missile. Ukrainian air defenses quite successfully repelled this third consecutive night attack by the aggressor country, shooting down 27 kamikaze drones.
The Air Force of Ukraine's armed forces reported this.
In general, the launches were recorded:
- 30 strike UAVs from the south-eastern direction (Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation),
- one Iskander-M ballistic missile launched by the enemy from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
"Due to combat work, 27 Shahed drones were destroyed by anti-aircraft defense along the tracking route in the Southern, Central, and Western regions.
Also, a reconnaissance UAV of the operational-tactical level was destroyed in the eastern direction," the Air Force emphasized.
It should be noted that, unfortunately, an attack UAV exploded in Lviv, and the Russian Iskander missile flew over Kryvyi Rih.

In the morning of September 19, explosions rang out in Lviv. As a result, a fire broke out in an industrial warehouse: a woman and a man were pulled out from under the rubble.
In addition, on the night of September 19, local authorities also reported explosions in the Khmelnytskyi region. They added that the anti-aircraft defense was working.
The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration also reported that ten Shahed drones were shot down in the Mykolaiv region that night.
It should be noted that in Ukraine on September 17, defenders of the sky shot down all six Shahed drones and six out of ten cruise missiles.
As Rubryka wrote, on the night of September 18, Russian troops also attacked Ukraine with air-launched cruise missiles and attack drones. Ukrainian defenders shot down 18 drones and 17 missiles.
