Russia moves three large warships from Black Sea to Sea of Azov – Ukrainian Navy’s spokesperson

After Ukraine's military beat a big Russian amphibious vessel and a submarine in occupied Sevastopol, the Russians shifted three huge amphibious vessels from the Black Sea to the Sea of Azov.

Dmytro Pletenchuk, the spokesman of the Naval Forces of Ukraine's armed forces, announced this on the telethon air.

"These processes related to the liberation of our territory will continue in the future. By the way, the fact that today the Russian occupiers for some reason redeployed three large amphibious ships from the Black Sea to the Azov Sea is indicative," said the spokesman of the Navy.

Pletenchuk noted that the large amphibious assault ship damaged in Sevastopol cannot be restored due to the damage's specifics and its "quite respectable age."

The spokesman said that this large amphibious ship was a member of the so-called "Syrian Express"; that is, it supplied weapons and personnel to solve logistical problems for the Syrian group of the Russian Federation.

Pletenchuk also emphasized that the destruction of the submarine was "the first loss of the Russian Federation when they lose a submarine as a result of hostilities."

On the night of September 13, powerful explosions rang out in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol: the occupying "authorities" of the city confirmed a fire at a ship repair plant in the Kilen-balka area.

"As a result of the enemy's cruise missiles hitting, two ships under repair were damaged," the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported.

In addition, according to British intelligence, the submarine "Rostov-on-Don" and the amphibious assault ship "Minsk" were critically damaged as a result of the strike by Ukraine.

In turn, Ukrainian intelligence stated that Russia is unlikely to be able to restore the damaged submarine and ship.

Also, on September 14, the Security Service of Ukraine's sea drone attacked the Samum missile ship near the entrance to Sevastopol Bay.

In addition, on September 3, defenders of Ukraine's armed forces destroyed the Russian boat Tunets in the Black Sea. During the operation, six occupiers were eliminated.

In turn, Ukraine's Security Service employees reported conducting a special operation in Novorossiysk Bay, damaging the large amphibious assault ship "Olenegorsky Gornyak."

On the night of August 5, representatives of the Ukrainian Security Service conducted an operation to blow up a large Russian oil tanker SIG, which was transporting fuel for the Russian invaders.

Since the beginning of the war, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 18 Russian ships and boats, including the flagship cruiser "Moskva."
