German Quantum Systems arms maker sends 100 combat drones to Ukrainian forces
The German arms maker Quantum Systems is sending 100 new-generation tactical drones to Kyiv to be distributed among Ukrainian forces.
They have already been tested in Ukraine, and Kyiv will then send the equipment to the military, the city's mayor Vitalii Klitschko.
The agreement with the investor and the company's management was reached at the annual Stern Stewart Institute summit in Germany.
Last year, Kyiv allocated almost $26,000 to purchase these drones but increased the amount to $130,000.
Kyiv continues to help our soldiers. Both by allocating funds from the city budget and by requesting assistance from partners. We send cars, ambulances, equipment, drones, and first aid kits to the frontline, he emphasized.
Quantum Systems GmbH was founded in January 2015 and specializes in developing and producing automatic aircraft and drones.
The company's products combine affordability and efficiency with the ability to take off and land vertically without additional equipment.
Previously, the facility has opened service training, support, and logistics centers in Ukraine.
