Ukraine reunites three more children deported to Russia with their families
Three more Ukrainian children who were abducted to Russia and enemy-controlled territories of Ukraine were brought back home, says Ukraine's Ombudsman for Children's Rights Dmytro Lubinets.
He said that two girls and a boy aged 14-15 met with their relatives after a complicated process of returning to their hometowns.
While talking to the schooler, I asked him who he wanted to become after graduation. He answered: "I want to be a police officer to take care of people's safety." Ukrainian children have wonderful dreams and goals. To help achieve them, we assist them in the educational process by providing technical devices, the ombudsman reported.
The returned children will undergo rehabilitation and receive support from a psychologist and lawyers, he said.
Previously, the Save Ukraine rescue team brought back 13 more Ukrainian children from the occupied parts of Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions to the government-controlled Ukraine.
