Israeli PM Netanyahu and Ukrainian President Zelensky to meet in New York soon

Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will participate in the UN General Assembly session.

The Ambassador of Israel to Ukraine, Michael Brodsky, reported this.

"The Netanyahu-Zelensky meeting will take place in New York in the coming days. The two countries' leaders will participate in the UN General Assembly session," said Brodsky.

As previously reported by Rubryka, on September 7, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, spoke by phone with the Prime Minister of the State of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu. During the conversation, the parties considered the possibility of the arrival of additional Israeli police forces to the Hasidic pilgrimage sites in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian head of state noted the importance of Israel's support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Zelensky also thanked for providing shelter to the citizens of Ukraine who left for Israel due to full-scale Russian aggression. He noted the restoration of free medical insurance for them in Israel.

The parties discussed possible ways of Israel's support for Ukraine in countering the Russian invasion.
