Russian forces have deployed 46 ballistic missile launchers along Ukraine's border − intelligence

Russia has deployed 46 units of Iskander ballistic missile systems, whose missiles the aggressor country periodically strikes at our territory, near the border with Ukraine.

Interfax-Ukraine news agency reports this, citing a statement by Vadym Skibitskyi, Deputy Chief of the DIU, during the annual meeting of the Yalta European Strategy (YES) in Kyiv.

It was this system that was used in the strikes on September 8 both with ballistic missiles and cruise missiles from the Iskander system. So, there is a consistent destruction of civilian objects of our state, said the representative of the Ukrainian intelligence department.

Skibitsky also added that Russian troops are actively using aircraft, although they are afraid of Ukrainian air defense to down it.

Ukraine's air defense is quite effective, as a significant percentage of missiles and drones that the enemy directs at civilian and military facilities are successfully destroyed.

Previously, the Iskander missile was used to attack northern Chernihiv, which killed and injured dozens of civilians. The same weapon targeted civilians in Kryvyi Rih, causing over 70 casualties.

російський Iskander-M is a Russian system with 9M723 quasi-ballistic missiles. Such missiles weigh 3.8 tons, with a warhead weighing 480 kg.

The missile is 7.2 meters long and 920 mm in diameter. The maximum trajectory height is 50 km. The minimum range is 50 km.

Previously, Ukraine's Intelligence reported Russia had amassed over 420,000 troops in the occupied Ukrainian territories, including Crimea.

According to British intelligence data, Russian troops have started reinforcing their positions from other parts of the frontline near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region, as they are experiencing significant pressure on their defense lines.
