Ukrainian forces advance up to 1.5 km near Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region

Ukrainian troops continue to advance south of the liberated Robotyne, known for being a heavily mined town at the beginning of the counteroffensive.

The liberation of another 1.5 km is a sign of dynamic storm actions and confident breaching of Russia's well-fortified defenses, says the Tavriia forces Oleksandr Shtupun spokesperson.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian troops are courageously and successfully holding off enemy attacks in the Donetsk region, particularly on the Marinka front, which has been the epicenter of the fiercest fighting along with Bakhmut.

As for the Marinka, Ukrainian troops repelled about 15 enemy attacks. The occupiers do not give up trying to take the ruins that used to be the town, emphasized Stupun.

The spokesman notes that Russians continue to use the "meat assaults" tactics to recapture lost positions or break through the Ukrainian defense.

Total enemy losses in the southeastern front amounted to 226 troops over the last day, and five invaders surrendered.

Ukraine's roaming counteroffensive

Ukraine's AFU General Staff reports the troops continue to conduct an offensive in the Melitopol area. The soldiers have to face heavily mined areas and well-built enemy fortifications.

• As reported previously, Ukrainian troops entered the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region and organized the evacuation of remaining civilians.
• Ukrainian soldiers also continue to advance successfully in the Melitopol direction, particularly in the Novodanylivka – Novoprokopivka area. They are strengthening re-captured positions.
• Russian occupiers are setting minefields on fire to stop the Ukrainian defense's advance near Melitopol.
• During the successful offensive in the south, the Ukrainian forces liberated about 47 square kilometers in the Bakhmut direction.
• Ukrainian forces broke through the first defense line and now stay near the second line, with the occupation forces spending 60% of their time building the first line and only 20% on the other two, as they did not expect troops to pass it.
• On September 7, Ukrainian border guards raised the national flag over the villages of Stroyivka and Topoly in the liberated Kharkiv region. The settlements are located in the so-called "gray zone," which used to be a heavily mined area bordering Russia.
