Vezha reports this.
So, several dozen Vinnytsia residents came to the exhibition's presentation near the Tower on City Day.
The event itself was imbued with a specific symbolism. At first, in honor of Vinnytsia's birthday, the artist tried to light candles on a symbolic cupcake.
Before the presentation, the paintings related to the stories of Ukrainians and the consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian war were covered with the flags of various states that assisted Ukraine. Under each of the works were symbolic candles – in memory of over half a thousand children who died due to Russian aggression.
During the presentation, Vinnytsia residents were demonstrated 20 paintings with a stereoscopic effect showing :
In particular, one artwork depicts the consequences of the attack on Vinnytsia on July 14.
More than one and a half thousand wooden "cubes" were needed to make each work. In total, about 30 thousand particles, each of which Lapshov performed more than ten operations.
Viewing the finished work from a distance of 3-5 meters is recommended because the relief texture does not allow you to see all the details up close.
The artist says that he calls his works "4D" because, in addition to relief in three-dimensional space (3D), "they also have a fourth "D" – the soul." He started working on the first of the works 560 days ago.
Thus, the artist says that in each of the paintings, there are cubes made of wood, which were handed over to him by soldiers from the front line and de-occupied cities – from the most diverse regions of Ukraine.
Volodymyr says that he became a volunteer after the start of the full-scale aggression. At first, he helped the military. Later, he helped civilians from occupied and liberated settlements, and now he helps children from children's social rehabilitation centers.
"A QR code is attached to each picture with a link to information about our foundation "Podilska Hromada." You can donate via this link – we will spend the money on houses for the social rehabilitation of children. In particular, in Transcarpathia, there is such an institution called "Zatyshok." During the first war, more than 153 children from Sumy, Chernihiv, and Mariupol were taken there… "the volunteer says.
After all, the head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine, Lana Vetrova, recorded this exhibition by Lapshov as "The first exhibition of paintings with a stereoscopic effect, created with the help of cubes."
Lapshov's paintings will be exhibited near the Tower on September 9-10.
After that, the paintings can be seen at the Vinnytsia City Council for about a week. Also, the artist plans to later exhibit the exhibition in other cities of Ukraine and beyond.
