Solutions to win: UniteWithUkraine and Saint Javelin raise over $100,000 for first aid kits for Ukrainian soldiers

The Ukrainian World Congress initiative UniteWithUkraine and the Ukrainian-Canadian company Saint Javelin raised more than $103,000 for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

This money will be used to purchase high-quality tactical medical equipment for Ukrainian defenders and combat medics, Rubryka reports.

What is the problem?

With the war in Ukraine and heavy battles on the fronts, many soldiers die and receive severe injuries. An individual first-aid kit significantly increases a fighter's ability to provide self-help. Such a first aid kit provides emergency care for the two main causes of death on the battlefield: profuse bleeding and respiratory failure. Each military first aid kit in the Armed Forces multiplies the survival rate of soldiers.

The Ukrainian World Congress initiative UniteWithUkraine and Saint Javelin raised more than $103,000 for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will be used to purchase high-quality tactical medical equipment.

How does it work?

"We want to thank everyone who participated in our raffle and auction. Regardless of whether your donation was $1 or $100, it was valuable and a significant contribution to Ukraine's victory," UniteWithUkraine said.

Donations were collected during the Independence Lifeline campaign dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine. Charity auctioneers bid for a chance to win a Javelin pipe coffee table and, for every donation, a chance to win a figurine cast from spent shell casings.

"Your help will have a long-term impact. Thanks to you, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have access to high-quality tactical medical equipment that they critically need and will save many people's lives," UniteWithUkraine concluded.

With the UniteWithUkraine initiative, the Ukrainian rescuers received 18 four-wheel drive pickups. It was also reported that, as part of its UniteWithUkraine initiative, the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) delivered 15 JCB 3CX excavators to the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
