Innovative education app "Mriia" to be tested in Ukraine by end of year – Vice PM Fedorov

By the end of this year, Ukraine plans to launch the new educational project "Mriia" [Dream in Ukrainian – ed.] in a testing phase.

The Vice Prime Minister and Head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, reported this on the telethon air.

The new application will be implemented in schools first.

"We plan to launch Mriia in a beta test at the end of this year and scale to the whole country next year. We will start with schools, and then we will scale to all levels of education. This application will help our children develop faster because there will be more quality content. On the other hand, it is an opportunity to be constantly in touch. To learn about all the opportunities available in our country, which open up from grants to certain types of training. It's a chance for parents to get feedback about their kid's schooling and be assured their kid is safe," said Fedorov.

He said that the same way they developed the "Diia" app is used to make "Mriia."

"This will be one of the most secure products available in our country. We are already developing an architecture that is quite secure. All the best experience in "Diia" will be implemented in "Mriia" as well," Fedorov said.

For reference:

As previously reported by Rubryka, on the Day of Knowledge, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, presented the innovative educational digital project "Mriia" to Ukrainian schoolchildren, their parents, and teachers.

The main goal of the "Mriia" project is to give the child a personal, educational space and a unique development algorithm to open the opportunity for every Ukrainian to become what he wants to be.

The application will help the child, parents, and teachers to navigate the educational process and beyond more effectively and will indicate in time what to pay attention to and what to devote more time to. It will contain a library of content that this child needs, including information about educational programs, courses, video materials, extracurricular activities, Olympiads, and clubs.
