After the victory Ukraine will transform with "no place for those who plundered the country" – Zelensky

After the victory, Ukraine will be different. The borders will be the same, the vibrant democracy will remain, and, as always, freedom will be one of the greatest in Europe, but there will be no place for those who plundered the country.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said this in his evening video address.

"Of course, we will protect Ukraine and restore freedom to the entire land. And each of us will feel that this will be a Ukraine of different rules. The borders will be the same. Democracy is probably just as turbulent. Freedom is one of the largest in Europe, as always.

But definitely without the long-standing "as usual" regarding those who plundered Ukraine and put themselves above the law and any rules. And I thank the Ukrainian law enforcement officers for their determination to bring to a just outcome every case that has been stalled for decades. The law must work. Yes, it must be so. It will be so."

Volodymyr Zelensky also congratulated Odesa, Sumy, and Lysychansk on City Day.
