Ukrainian drones again attack Russia’s Moscow and Kursk

Ukrainian forces resumed attacks on numerous cities after a successful hit on Russia's military aircraft at the Pskov airfield. The drones have supposedly attacked the city of Kurchatov while heading for Moscow.

Roman Starovoyt, Governor of Kursk Oblast, says the town was attacked by "two Ukrainian drones." He claims the attack damaged an administrative building and a civilian house.

Traditionally, the Russian side blames Ukraine for all drone attacks inside Russia. According to the official, experts have arrived at the scene to assess the extent of the damage, as "details are being clarified."

Moscow's mayor Sergei Sobianin claims Russia's air defenses downed another Ukrainian drone on its way to the capital.

The Moscow mayor also added that there were no casualties or damage during the attack and clarified that emergency services were working at the scene.

However, Kremlin authorities feel severe tension, which is noticed by the constant shutting down of airports. For example, the "Carpet" plan was announced in the Moscow region, fearing an all-out drone attack.

On the morning of September 1, Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports were temporarily closed for arrivals and departures. Authorities delayed 32 flights and canceled 20.

Russians have recently started to complain about the sounds of explosions with increasing frequency ever since the Crimea Bridge was attacked again by Ukrainian missiles and drones.

On the night of August 30, Ukrainian UAVs attacked at least six Russian regions and occupied Crimea. It was one of the largest UAV attacks inside Russia and captured territories.

Russian Defense Ministry also announced the downing of drones over the Belgorod region and Tula region.

Then again, on August 25, explosions were heard simultaneously in Russia's Kursk, Kaluga, and Tula regions.
