The Ukrainian Armor weapons manufacturer has fully resumed the production of mortars of various calibers and this year alone has already delivered more than 600 shells to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Rubryka reports.

What is the problem?

Ukrainian Armor general director Vladyslav Belbas said that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian forces captured part of the company's production facilities in the east of the country. Ukrainian defenders do not have enough ammunition of various types to destroy the Russian onslaught.

What is the solution?

Ukrainian Armor found an opportunity to fully resume the production of mortars of various calibers to provide Ukrainian defenders with ammunition.

How does it work?

The company found a way to restore production cycles. According to Belbas, Ukrainian Armor conducted qualification tests and launched the production of 60 mm, 82 mm, and 120 mm mortars at the relocated sites.

Today, the Ukrainian Armor has not only been restored but also significantly increased, compared to the pre-war period, the volume of production of artillery weapons that are so necessary for the Ukrainian army.

"We supply these products to various law enforcement agencies, both with state funding and volunteer organizations' funds," Belbas reports.

It is for them that the company has developed simple video instructions on using mortars.

Earlier, Ukrainian Armor resumed serial production of 60-mm mortar rounds and has already delivered more than 100,000 units to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, together with the military technology platform Brave1, tested 25 Ukrainian robotic devices in the field, which will soon appear on the front.
