Solutions to win: Ukraine tests out 25 new robotic devices for front line

The Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, and the military technology platform Brave1 tested 25 Ukrainian robotic devices in the field, which will soon appear on the front line.

Minister Mykhailo Fedorov showed Ukrainian-made innovations, like kamikaze robots and remote turrets, on Telegram, Rubryka reports.

The Ukrainian military constantly needs drones of various modifications on the front lines, which are considered expendable because they are often used only for one purpose — on enemy territory.

According to Fedorov, the war is turning into a "battle of engineers" coordinate system, into a technological war.

Currently, the Ukrainian drone market is making significant progress, and this experience will be extended to the Robot Army, the minister says.

"Technology and innovation are the key to our victory," the minister emphasized.

The minister says these innovations will help gain an advantage on the battlefield and save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers.

"I checked 25 unique devices in the field — from logistical to combat ones, from remote turrets to kamikaze robots. Soon, they will help the military to destroy the enemy more effectively," Fedorov reported.

Soon, they will help the Ukrainian army on the front line. Fedorov also emphasized that specialized companies are scaling up and actively developing.

It was reported that the Brave1 platform was launched for military technology developers in Ukraine in April 2023. It is a single platform for the cooperation of military technology developers with companies, the state, and the army. The platform will increase the production of weapons and equipment.

Background

In September 2022, on the initiative of the Ministry of Defense, the procedures for accepting weapons and military equipment into operation were significantly simplified.

"Formalities that used to take up to two years are now completed in a matter of weeks. In particular, the Accelerator of the Ministry of Defense helps manufacturers in this process," Defense Minister Reznikov said. "We will not build a factory the size of a stadium. At least not now. We will find an asymmetric solution, and the enemy will feel it on the battlefield."

Rubryka reported that the new Ukrainian-produced UAV "Velykyi Banderyk," which was approved by the Ministry of Defense for operation, is already successfully used by the Ukrainian military at the front.

Also, the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex has developed a Rubaka operational and strategic drone, which can cover a distance of 500 kilometers.
