Ukraine's Security Service detains Russian agent guiding missile strikes at Kherson
Ukraine's Security Service detained a pro-Russian citizen, who's been guiding various missile strikes at the liberated Kherson city for a month, the report says.
The coordinates caused daily Russian shellings from long-range missile systems, mortars, artillery and aviation.
The SSU shows texting between Russia's military personnel and the agent.
You didn't really shoot at the right target….I hate them [Ukrainian soldiers] so much. I wish them all death, the agent says.
I agree with you. That's why i'm doing this job, responds Russia's soldier, possibly, artillery servicemen.
The woman was tracking the locations and movements of Ukrainian troops, trying to find their approximate number and the amount of military equipment they kept.
The following set of messages says:
All the equipment is still there. They [Russian forces] didn't even hit it.
Have they checked it in the morning?…I'll be questioned if nothing happened.
Nothing was destroyed.
With her coordinates, the Russian occupiers regularly attacked the city, using Grad multiple rocket launchers and Shahed kamikaze drones.
She transmitted all the collected intelligence to the aggressor via a messenger in screenshots of maps with object markings.
In the next screenshot the agent specifies the next location:
Let me know when you read the data, I'll delete it later.
I'll send it further!!!
When you see the target, you should work at night, the troops are transferred with trucks every morning.
According to the investigation, the suspect is a local resident who was remotely recruited by the invaders after the de-occupation of Kherson.
During the search, the SSU seized communication equipment with evidence of reconnaissance and subversive activities in favor of Russia. Currently, the agent faces life imprisonment.
