Kyivstar and Ryanair: 15 Ukrainian and international enterprises pledge to restore Crimea after its liberation

15 international, national, and local businesses have already joined the memorandum on the restoration and development in Crimea, which will take the first steps after its liberation, says the state ministry of infrastructure.

Ukraine's infrastructure minister Oleksandr Kubrakov says the state plans to launch the largest hi-tech center in Eastern Europe after Crimea's liberation during the peninsula-related summit.

Free economic zones, the abolition of currency regulation, modern digital infrastructure and endless opportunities for learning and self-development. Together with Ukraine, a decent standard of living will return to Crimea, Kubrakov said.

Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Alexandra Azarkhina states that dozens of leading companies and international organizations are ready to join the restoration of the peninsula today. Global and local enterprises such as Nokia, Ryanair, Fozzy Group, Vodafone, Kyivstar, Monobank, and Okko pledged to join the efforts.

On August 23, at the summit of the Crimean Platform, the first relevant document was signed, according to which a number of international companies will be able to enter Crimea immediately after the de-occupation of the peninsula.

President Zelensky then said that powerful international brands, including hotels, airlines, banking businesses, IT companies, and industrial and energy companies, expressed the readiness to start a business in Crimea.

Zelensky reminded that the war would not end for Ukraine until all occupied territories, including Crimea, were liberated. He later added that Ukraine is preparing a set of security, economic, and social steps to de-occupy and reintegrate the peninsula.

AFU Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi also stressed that no one would stop him in his intention to liberate Crimea.
