Russia limited in long-term war capacity except for human resources – Ukraine's intelligence chief
In Russia, apart from human resources, there is no resource to continue the war.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, stated this.
"But he [Putin – ed.] does not have the resources. Apart from human resources, he no longer has any resources: there is no economy, there is also no resource for the military industry, and the military reserves have already been exhausted. There are human resources […] But this is the only thing they have in sufficient quantity," Budanov said.
According to Budanov, if Russia had no problems with the military industry, it would not have tried to purchase ammunition and weapons from North Korea, Iran, Cuba, or Africa.
The intelligence chief also reminded that in recent years, the Russian Federation was a leader among arms and ammunition exporters, not to mention illegal exports. Therefore, it is not surprising that it has already exhausted its resources during a full-scale war.
At the same time, Budanov noted that with the current resources, the Russians can hold the defense for a long time, if they do not take active actions.
