Ukrainian Institute introduces English-language platform dedicated to Ukrainian culture

The Ukrainian Institute launched the Insight UA English-language platform on Ukrainian culture for Independence Day.

The Ukrainian Institute announced this on Facebook.

Insight UA is an English-language guide to Ukrainian culture, personalities, and events.

The platform introduces:

  • Ukrainian music,
  • literature,
  • theater,
  • cinema,
  • visual art,
  • Crimea,
  • analytical works.

"Through selections of Ukrainian films, exhibitions, books, listening to playlists, signing up for one of the online courses, or browsing various articles, everyone will be able to discover something new," the organization said.

In particular, you can find articles about Ukrainian artists, curators, artistic spaces, cultural institutions, and initiatives on the site. As well as information about monuments destroyed by Russia: Freedom Square in Kharkiv, Lysychansk Gymnasium, and Peter the Great Cathedral in Mariupol.

It should be noted that UNESCO has allocated 1.5 million dollars to Ukraine to digitize cultural heritage.
