Russian troops shell Kherson region, killing one civilian

Today, August 24, the enemy army shelled a field near Shyroka Balka, Kherson region. The farmer died as a result of the impact.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the Kherson Regional Military Administration head, reports this.

A tractor driver working in the field came under fire. The man received incompatible with life injuries.

The Prosecutor General's Office noted that the Russians shelled the Stanislavsk community in the Kherson region around 1:50 p.m.

The pre-trial investigation was started on the grounds of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The Russian military targeted the residential quarters of settlements in the region, the territory and building of a kindergarten, the territory of a factory and an enterprise in Kherson, an administrative building and a store in the Beryslav district. Seven people were injured.

On the morning of August 24, the Russian occupation forces attacked Kherson again, injuring three people, including a child.

Also, today, in the Kherson region in Komyshany, the enemy army fired at a medical facility; there were no civilian casualties.
