Russian forces launch rocket attack on Kryvyi Rih
On Tuesday morning, August 22, an explosion rang out in the city of Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine's central Dnipropetrovsk region.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, said, according to initial information, one person was injured, Rubryka reports.
An explosion rang out in Kryvyi Rih at dawn. The Russian missile attack destroyed 20 private houses and damaged the power line.
"Preliminarily, one person was injured. The man was provided help and will be treated on an outpatient basis," said Serhii Lysak.
Also, the Russian army attacked the Synelnykove district of the region with a drone tonight, hitting a private enterprise, after which a fire broke out.
Subsequently, the Russian forces struck again on the district's territory, damaging power lines and other civilian infrastructure.
Previous attacks on Kryvyi Rih
Russian forces have recently intensified their rocket attack on Kryvyi Rih — President Zelensky's hometown. During an air raid on July 31, the Russian occupiers struck Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The Russian invaders launched two rockets into the city, one of which hit a residential building and the other hit an educational institution. More than 80 people were injured, including seven children.
The number of people killed by the Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih was five people, including a ten-year-old girl.
