Zelensky meets with Swedish PM to discuss joint CV-90 armored vehicles production
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrives in Sweden and starts talks with the Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson during his visit.
Zelensky would meet with King Charles XVI and Queen Silvia, Speaker of Parliament Andreas Norlén and heads of parliamentary parties.
The talks would focus on military assistance, the development of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the defense industry, Ukraine's EU integration, and the Euro-Atlantic security guarantees.
Ukraine's President will lift up the topic of joint production of Swedish-made CV-90 armored vehicles, as the main topic of the visit would be defense capabilities during the full-fledged war.
Our soldiers are already effectively using them at the contact line. We also plan to produce CV-90s in Ukraine, Zelensky said.
It is Zelensky's first visit to Sweden since the beginning of the new stage of war in 2022, while the Swedish PM visited Ukraine in February this year.
