Russia ramps up distribution of Russian passports ahead of “elections” in Ukraine’s occupied territories – Deputy PM Vereshchuk

In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the invaders intensified the issuance of Russian passports before the pseudo-elections.

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk announced this on the air of the Yedyny Novyny telethon.

"Everyone is passported, even without people. We know that for sure. They have "drawn" lists. They just tick boxes and hand out passports. That's why I call again and again to leave [the occupied territories – ed.] with all your might," said Vereshchuk.

She appealed to all those who remain at TOT to leave: "Each time it will be more and more difficult not to give in and cooperate with the enemy, not to take a passport and survive. I am asking you to leave and wait for the de-occupation."

As previously reported by Rubryka, in the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk region, the Russian invaders demanded that the collaborators carry out forced distribution of Russian passports among teenagers aged 14-18 years by October 1. The National Resistance Center has reported that "observers" from Moscow have come to the region to keep an eye on the process of compulsorily issuing passports.

In addition, the Russian Federation also began preparing for "elections" in the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region.

Back in February, in the Federation Council, the Russians announced plans to hold elections in the captured territories of Ukraine.

British intelligence noted that the Russian Federation wants to show the occupied territories as its "integral parts" by intending to hold a vote on the same day as the elections in Russia.
