Zaluzhnyi meets US, UK military commanders to discuss air defenses and troop training

Ukraine's AFU Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi held a fruitful meeting with American and British military allies.

Ukraine was represented by Chief of the General Staff General Shaptalo, Deputy Commander-in-Chief General Zabrodskyi, Navy Commander Admiral Neizhpapa, First Deputy Defense Minister General Pavliuk, and Chief of the Defense Intelligence Agency General Budanov.

General Cavoli, Supreme Allied Commander Europe and Commander of the United States Forces in Europe, Admiral Radakin, Chief of the British Defense Staff, and a number of unnamed representatives of partner delegations attended the talks.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the situation at the front, the needs of military units, and the protection of infrastructure.

Cooperation in the military field was the key topic of discussion. I spoke about the situation at the front, the course of our offensive and defensive operations. We discussed possible actions of the enemy, noted the Commander-in-Chief.

Zaluzhnyi also emphasized that the needs of military units were discussed separately. They also mentioned the issue of drones to counter enemy drones and build up their own capabilities.

We agreed with our partners to focus our work in this area. We also discussed the possibilities of strengthening the protection of critical infrastructure facilities from enemy air attacks, Zaluzhnyi concluded.
