Solutions to win: Ukraine has restored 900 buildings in ravaged Hostomel in Kyiv region
Kyiv military administration reports Ukrainian construction workers have already restored 900 buildings in Hostomel, occupied by Russian forces in 2022.
Nearly 890 of them are civilian buildings, authorities add.
What is the problem?
The full-scale war damaged 3,250 objects, including 3,166 residential buildings in the Hostomel community of the Kyiv region. Reconstruction began immediately after the territory was liberated from the invaders.
One of the damaged objects was an apartment building in the village of Hostomel at 73 Svyato-Pokrovska Street, where about 150 people lived there.
The building was heavily damaged by ammunition, and a fire broke out inside the building.
What is the solution?
Local funds were used to replace window structures and perform other construction work. The budget assured reparations of the facades of the residential building and the concrete structure.
Authorities work slowly but surely work on the full-fledged restoration in the Kyiv region. Ukraine has already restored 1,721 objects, including 1,317 residential buildings in Makariv, and almost 1,000 objects in Irpin.
