Solutions to win: Ukrainian IT company SoftServe sends ten ambulances to troops on Zaporizhzia front

Ukraine's IT company SoftServe delivered ten ambulances for troops in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk fronts from the western Lviv region.

Head of Lviv military administration Maksym Kosytsky made the relevant statement.

What is the problem?

Since the first day of the full-scale war, Ukrainians have rallied around one goal as never before, helping each other as if they were family.

At that time, the military had a lot of needs for humanitarian and medical aid, as well as for drones, thermal imagers, scopes, cars, ambulances, etc.

Many fundraisers were completed in no time, no matter whether the amount of money raised was 100 thousand hryvnias or a million.

As the counteroffensive requires more resources, the needs remain just as urgent. Almost all the aid sent to the front is consumables with a rather short service life.

The ambulances on the front line save hundreds of lives of Ukrainians and soldiers, but just like other military vehicles, they get shelled or break down on destroyed roads.

What is the solution?

Today, 10 ambulances are leaving Lviv region for our defenders in raging battles for Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk, Kozytsky said.

How does it work?

he ambulances were purchased by the SoftServe charitable foundation "Open Eyes" as part of the "Drive for Life: +100 Ambulances" project. All vehicles will be used to transport the wounded to field hospitals.

SoftServe donated $1,2 mln to purchase hundreds of ambulances on the occasion of its 30th anniversary. To provide the vehicles with everything they need, another $600,000 was announced to raise necessary funds.

This is an extremely important project, as more than 120 vehicles that the Foundation has previously transferred to the front have already helped save more than 5,000 lives! But 100 ambulances will significantly enhance the capabilities of combat medics, said Maksym Kozytsky.

Previously, Ukrainian medics received 40 emergency vehicles purchased through the United24 fundraiser, said the digital minister Mykhailo Fedorov.

The Latvian organization Agendum sent the hundredth convoy of vehicles, which contains 33 cars, two trucks, and two buses, to boost Ukraine's counteroffensive. Since the full-scale war's outset, the Agendum organization has already sent 1640 different types of vehicles to Ukraine, such as SUVs, minibusses, cars, etc.
