Rubryka reports, referring to the statement of the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, and the press service of the State Emergency Service.
As the monitoring groups reported, at 05:12, explosions began to ring out in the Lviv region. The Air Force warned about the danger to Stryi, the city close to Lviv.
"Lviv region, everyone is hearing explosions. Keep informational silence!" said Kozytskyi.
Starting from 05:18 and until 05:30, explosions were heard in Lviv; the anti-aircraft defense was also activated. Air defense forces shot down one missile. Another six reached their targets. Later, Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi reported on the attack on the city. According to him, private residences were also affected. The impact caused a fire in residential buildings on the upper floors.
The head of the Lviv region, Maksym Kozytskyi, also reported:
"In Lviv, rocket debris fell on multi-apartment residential buildings on Patona and Kakhovska streets. There was a fire. There is destruction. People were evacuated. There are victims. They are provided with all necessary medical assistance. Information about the dead has not been received so far."
Kozytskyi noted that small fires were recorded in other parts of Lviv and were extinguished. The ceiling collapsed due to falling rocket fragments in one of the city's hypermarkets. There is damage to vehicles.
As of now, Kozytskyi reported that 15 people were injured.
"The youngest victim is ten years old. The oldest is 72. Most of the victims have scratches and cuts due to broken windows and bruises. Five people were hospitalized. The occupiers damaged about 40 houses."
In Lviv, the Zaliznychnyi district witnessed the destruction of 20 buildings, mostly located on Kakhovska and Patona streets. The incidents led to fires, broken windows, and damaged roofs. Notably, Lviv Medical College "Monada" had its windows shattered, and an industrial enterprise experienced fires in three of its buildings.
Later, Sadovyi added that the rocket landed in the yard of the kindergarten. Over a hundred apartments were damaged, over 500 windows were broken, and the kindergarten's building was destroyed.

Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties. Currently, efforts to assess the extent of damage to the buildings and to address the aftermath of the incident are in progress.
Rescue teams have shared a video depicting the aftermath of the nighttime attack, showing the condition of a high-rise building in Lviv.
"Another night. Another terror. A massive rocket attack on the cities of Ukraine. Civilian objects, residential buildings, and enterprises are what the aggressor is fighting against. Rescuers are working and eliminating the consequences," said the State Emergency Service chief, Serhii Kruk.
Kozytskyi also said that residents whose homes were destroyed and damaged could submit a request for compensation for repairs on the Diia platform. The maximum amount of compensation is 200,000 hryvnias.
