Russian army attacks Poniativka in Kherson region: civilian hospitalized with severed arm
On Monday, August 14, Russian troops shelled a village in the southern Kherson region.
The Kherson Regional Military Administration said the attack injured a local man, Rubryka reports.
"The Russian army shelled a residential building in Poniativka of the Dariivka community. A local resident was injured in his own home. The man was hospitalized with the loss of an upper limb," the report says.
The Russian occupiers continue to attack settlements in the Kherson region. During the constant shelling, many civilians were injured and killed.
As Rubryka reported, on August 13, Russian invaders shelled the village of Stanislav and Shyroka Balka in the Kherson region. The attack killed at least five adults and a child who was only 23 days old.
Later, a 12-year-old boy who was freed from the rubble of a house destroyed by the Russian occupiers died in a hospital in the Kherson region, while his parents and little sister died.
According to the Kherson State Administration report, on August 13, the Russian forces launched 83 rounds of attacks, firing 399 shells from mortars, artillery, Grad MRLS, UAVs, and jets. The Russian forces fired 23 shells at the city of Kherson.
The Russian military targeted the residential quarters of the populated areas of the region; the territory and buildings of the garage cooperative, the building of the medical laboratory, warehouses in Kherson; a store building in the Kherson district; the territory and building of the medical institution in Beryslav.
Due to the Russian aggression, seven people died, two of them children. 13 people were injured. August 14 was declared the Day of Mourning for the killed.
