Ukrainian forces gain success near Robotyne in southern Zaporizhzhia region – AFU General Staff

As Russian troops continue their advance in three directions of the front, Ukraine's counteroffensive shows positive results near Robotyne in the southern Zaporizhzhia region, according to the General Staff's recent report. 

Ukrainian forces are consolidating their positions on the reclaimed territories and carrying out counter-battery operations. Troops are pushing back Russian forces to conduct offensive operations on the Melitopol and Berdiansk fronts.

Russian troops targeted Ukrainian positions with six missile attacks and 36 air strikes over the past 24 hours. Strikes killed and injured numerous civilians, including children. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure targets were destroyed.

The chance rate of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high. There were 33 combat clashes over the last day.

Russia-announced offensive on the eastern Kupiansk front remains unsuccessful. The enemy forces conducted unsuccessful offensive operations northeast of Synkivka, north of Kyslivka, and southeast of Andriivka (Kharkiv region).

On the Bakhmut front, Russian forces conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near Klishchiivka and Bila Hora (Donetsk region). Russian forces launched an airstrike in the area of Blahodatne and attacked more than ten settlements, including Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Pivnichne (Donetsk region).
